Warranty on new appliances and AC

Our one year anniversary is coming upon us soon and our appliances will no longer be under the warranty. GE has the extended warranty for each appliance but that seems like a lot of money per year. Besides Broward Factory Service, is there anyone else out there that does appliance warranty?
