Just wanted to take the opportunity to commend Len and Chris of Investment Painting Conractors. I engaged them to remodel my 12 year old kitchen while we were in New Oreans. When we arrived home, we were dazzled by the impact of the beautiful job they did. Rather than entering my drab La Costa home, I thought I was entering a Villa in Tuscany.
They resurfaced all the kitcen cabinets, painted the walls a rich terra cotta Painted the ceiling and trim white; removed the sliding doors to the lanai and installed a beautiful white frame for the entrance to the Lanai from the kitchen. giving more depth and space.
In the living room, they removed the sliding doors, and built a wall, rendering the room a formal living room. They Use monochromatic colors to accent the
soffit and entrance areas. It was truly beautiful. Three of my neighbors immeditely had their kitchens remodled after they saw the resuts of what Investment Painting Contractors did. Best of all, they accomplished all of this in five days. everything was neat and spotless. They replaced all the furniture, and rugs, and left it in pristine condition. All this for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Investment Painting Contractors.

I'm timid with color choice and Chris made suggestions and gave me the courage to go ahead with a vibrant color. I called Investment Painting talked with Chris Gibbs, he came the next day

This past week we hired Investment Painting contractors to paint our new house in the Villages of Alhambra. Chris was willing to come out to our house the day after I called. He gave us a free estimate for painting our entire interior which we felt was very reasonable. He also said they could paint the house in one day. When I asked when his guys could come out and paint, I was pleasantly surprised that he said they could be there the following day at 8:00 AM. Chris was friendly, helpful, and very professional.

The next morning his crew showed up on time (early actually!) and they were equally friendly and professional. When my wife and I returned later in the afternoon we found our house beautifully painted. Everything that had been taken down or moved was put back in its proper place. We are newcomers to the Villages and shopped around for a painting company and a Flooring company to install hardoood floors.

We were fortunate enough to find Investment Painting Contractors. Chris Gibbs and his staff Lance/Michael and Eric were awesome. Extremely punctual, courtesy as well as great painters.
They painted 90 percent of our home. SUPER JOB.

We also discovered Reedy's Flooring America and Doug and his team did a wonderful job as well. Agian a SUPER JOB.

I had IP do my interior on Friday. I did my research by getting quotes and recommendations from others, and I had IP do the painting, best decision I have made in awhile.
The crew worked together like a well coached team, they all new what had to be done and they all just keep painting, moving ladders, sweeping, never even asking what had to be done next, they just got it done.
Don't waste your time getting quotes.
IP was competitive, on time, excellent work, clean, and professional.

I also used IPC to paint several rooms in my house, they did a great job,
however, my wife asked the paint to be semi-gloss. But the painters put on eggshell. She is not happy, but doesn't want to go through moving all the pictures again to get it repainted.

I used Investment Painting Contractors in August of 2009. I thought I posted a long recommendation on this site, but obviously I did something wrong because I never could find it. I was very impressed with the painting contractor and their workers. They showed up exactly when they said they would, they finished when they said they would, and they really did a terrific job for me. Anything they had to move out of their way was put back in place, and they cleaned up after themselves. They were a small crew of very nice guys. Nothing was paid up front and the bill was exactly as they had estimated. I would definitely call on them again.

Investment Painting Contractors - Chris and crew, did a wonderful job at our designer villa, close to Spanish Springs. They scraped the ceilings, sealed and painted them and painted all walls, cleaned all woodwork and then painted, and cleaned all light fixtures. Got quotes from several TOTL's recommended painters (thanks to all to do comment on this sight) and decided to go with Investment Painting. Checked each one out and decided to go with Chris Gibbs and Investment Painting. Chris gave me copies of their Liability and Worker�s compensation insurance coverage when asked. This was important to me as accidents do happen and I wanted to protect ourselves as well as his employees.
Chris arrived as scheduled and said the job would take longer than quoted. We said fine but he wanted us to know why! He said that his wife and surprised him with a plane ticket to see his younger children back in WI. He did say we would be in good hands and that Lyle and Scott would finish the job. These two gentlemen were outstanding and did a wonderful job. I worked in the paint applicator business and know a good paint job when I see it. They made sure my wife and I did a complete walk through with them upon completion to make sure we were pleased with their work. Then Lyle said, if you see something that you feel needs to be addressed latter on, just call and we will come back out to satisfy us.

For those who want to know, Chris and his team has done lots of interior painting on our first Courtyard Villa and now our designer. As a matter of fact, he will be looking at more work in our home this week!

He said he would redo the vivid walls if I didn't like them. His suggestion was great and I'm very happy with it even though I would not have thought of that combination. We live in the Palo Alto area. For several reasons we decided to paint the outside of our home. Chris and his crew with Investment Painting Contractors did two homes down the street from our home so their work and one of those owners good reference stood as our referral. We were NOT disappointed in any way. We were given a quote for the exterior. We wanted the interior painted, too, but we could do that. Chris quoted interior and experior with a discount for doing both at once (helps them to paint outside in the morning and come in to do interior during the rainy afternoon) and quoted another discount for doing interior walls and trim. We commited to all.

They were on time every day, got all the work done in one week, asked us to move the knick-knacks but they otherwise moved all furniture, gave us advice on how to proceed to minimize disruption of normal life any more than necessary (the order of doing things), they left no damaged furniture, they did a great job with full clean-up as they went and they left no drips or mess on the floors in the end. All was absolutely as hoped. The final price was as quoted. In this day of poor service and companies giving as little as possible for a price that's too high, Chris and Investment Painting Contractors was a breath of fresh air. It all looks great!! We enjoyed working with Investment Painting Contractors, they were total professionals!!

We recently had Investment Painting Contractors paint the entire inside of our Begonia home. We chose IPC based upon recommendations seen on TOTV and personal referrals from others. IPC provided us with a reasonable quote compared to 3 other contractors. When they came to our home to do the work, the painters were all professional and accommodating to our needs. They did an excellent job with no clean up issues. When we needed to have them return to correct a few spots, they did it quickly and went above-and-beyond to complete the job. I highly recommend them, and plan to use them to paint the outside of our house when it's time.

Investment Painting Contractors did an excellent job in the painting of my master bedroom. The crew came out and in 3.5 hours the room was completely painted...including the baseboards. They are neat and clean and leave everything just the way they found it....only better!!

Not sure what problem anyone could have with Investment Painting not making the customer happy. We originally contracted them to paint our entire house of walls and ceilings (yes, popcorn ceilings). We were VERY pleased with the walls but not as pleased with the ceilings. ABSOLUTELY no problem. The owner Chris agreed that the ceilings (not all but some) did not look up to his quality of standard (we agreed) and he offered to come back and repaint ALL of the ceilings at no charge at our convenience. Who could ask for more? The re-paint came out outstanding and we stand by Investment Painting 100% as a stand-up company that charges a fair price and warranties their work. We can't say enough nice things about them!!

We do not remove Popcorn Ceilings. We usually use a top quality Sherwin Williams paint, we do not use contractor quality. As for the number of coats this varies job to job. Any further questions feel free to call Monday morning after 8am. Chris 352-446-7334.

I used Investment Painting for the 2nd time. Last year they painted my entire interior and last week they painted the entire exterior. I thought they were known for interior painting only so I originally contacted Omar Painting to do the exterior. What a mistake. I had gotten an estimate from Omar months early because I am only in The Villages certain months and had a small window of time. The day Omar arrived he was rude, disrespectful and then proceeded to lecture me on a price increase , and all the things he would not do from his original estimate. Long story short he walked off the job and left me high and dry ! I called Chris and he came out the next day to review the job. He agreed to honored his original quote from over 120 days earlier. He was honest with me and told me he could not do it for 2-3 weeks but he would get it done. He communicated with me every step of the way and Eric and his crew could not of been more polite. I have nothing but many kudos for Chris Gibbs and his staff who promptly came in and did an outstanding job for one of my real estate clients who had left me with the task of getting their home prepared for its eventual sale. The family had taken their father back north a couple of years ago from the home he had bought in The Villages back in 2000. They asked me to place it on the market knowing it would need a lot of TLC to bring it back into shape. The father had been unable to keep up with its maintenance for a number of years so that the walls, trim and all the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms needed to be painted and brought back to life. Likewise, the outside of the house including the pool and bird cage area required even more work and effort. If it wasn’t for the talented job provided by the Investment Painting Contractor crew, it would never be worth the value it is today! I personally cannot say enough about their “professionalism” not to mention their "capability". They are now my Go-To organization whenever I should incur any future painting requirements. I took a semester off to paint a large apartment building in Detroit. I lost my deferment and was in uniform Sept 30th, 1966. I was in Vietnam by 1967. Returning state side in August 1968 stationed at a Nike site in Arlington Heights Illinois. With time left to serve and making $240 a month, I bought a old truck and having to be on duty in the daytime I got a contract painting gas stations over night. Hiring the Vietnam Vets I was stationed with I was able to keep buying trucks and expanding the company.

I finally got discharged and the company kept evolving into a National Painting Co. Painting hundreds of Taco Bells, Walgreens, K Marts Etc. Ending up in Milwaukee for 30 years as our central point and cutting our travels to the Midwest.

Along the way I established a tight crew, all kids including Chris who told me someday he would "OWN" the Company. Well now he does, and to our surprise he moved the company to Summerfield. For the last 13 years he and the guys have made us Very PROUD.

55 Yrs ago on the 4th of July 1966, Investment Painting was born at my kitchen table in suburban Detroit. I had my first big contract and needed the money for school. When I wasn't enrolled in school by august, I ended up in the Army by Sept, 30th.
After Vietnam I was released from the army in Illinois. I used my travel money to buy and old truck, hired a bunch of Vietnam Vets and went back to work. We were soon painting Shopping centers, High rise office buildings Etc.
After finishing a contract in Florida I went to visit a friend in Milwaukee. Got there on a Sunday and had a contract on Monday. We branched out and became National Painters. We painted hundreds of Taco Bells, K Marts, Burger Kings & Walgreens Thru out the Country.
For the next 30 years we worked out of Wisconsin. I never laid a man off. I had a crew of young guys who could travel. Chris Gibbs grew up on the Truck and has been the "New Owner" for the last 14 Yrs.

When my husband was in the hospital for six weeks lighting in my cathedral kitchen went out. I called a local company and they said the cost to come change the light bulb would have to be close to $100. IPC was founded at my kitchen table on July 4th, 1966, to help pay my college tuition.
Having just signed my first major contract to do the final stage painting of a high-rise building, I notified my college that I would take the Fall semester off and return in the Spring. Consequently, I lost my deferment, and ended up in uniform, headed for Viet Nam by 1967.

Returning stateside, I was stationed at a Nike Site in Arlington Heights, IL. Unable to live on $240. a month, I bought an old truck, hired the Viet Nam vets on base, and started painting gas stations throughout Chicago at night. Upon discharge, I kept painting and was able to finish school.

After working all over the US, I settled in Milwaukee, WI., where I put together a young crew, including Chris Gibbs. We painted Walgreen's, Taco Bells, K Marts, etc. throughout the state on a regular basis, along with hundreds of homes and many other businesses.

Mary and I brought the crew to FL to do an extensive rehab on our retirement home in The Villages. We moved into our house a year later, with Chris Gibbs, the new owner of IPC, and the company soon following.

Mary and I are very proud of Chris and the guys. We appreciate all the nice comments and letters from his many customers. We thank you, and wish you all a Happy 4th of July.

We had the same experience. Henry and crew also arrived promptly at 8 am and worked straight through until 4:30. The next day was a half day and the project was done to perfection. Henry supervised the crew directly and it was obvious that he had the respect of the crew. The job was great and I would not hesitate to use them again and or recommend them to friends, (which I already have done).

We had Investment Painting come to our home in The Villages to paint our cabinets in the kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom. We can’t say enough good things about the painters and the great job that they did while working here. They were meticulous, organized and very respectful of our property. When we realized that they were doing such a good job, we asked them to add on a couple other small painting projects. Henry, the leader of the three painters, made sure that he found time to squeeze those additional requests in. All of the work, including those additional projects, were done in one and a half days as quoted. We will absolutely call Investment Painting for any future painting projects.
