We are closing next week in Buttonwood and have a underground propane tank for our outside kitchen grill. I've heard there are several services to fill them. Any impute as to which provider to use?
Thanks Jim

We settled in July. Suburban Propane filled it after we had to jump through hoops...our pool service guy called someone who called someone, etc, but eventually it was filled. They also needed to replace a regulator at the house inlet and in the ground because the building code had changed since our model house was built a year ago. One other thing, Suburban provided a free systen safety check. Talk to Rita there....

Suburban Propane takes care of our system. If I remember correctly as a new customer they will send someone out to first test/inspect the fill area on the tank and then around the pool heater, if you have one. Once everything is cleared they then schedule a propane delivery.

If we get an underground propane tank, would it be sufficient for an inside gas stove and an outside bbq? I realize it would depend upon how much we cook of course but on average would it need to be refilled monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly? Does anyone have a general idea of the cost of getting the tank and the cost of filling it?

Keep it filled or heavy rains can cause it to push or float right up out of the ground,,just saw one do this on Charlotte just past the mail center a few days ago.
I have Suburban Propane and they do come out on a regular basis to check the level of propane so the owner doesn't have to worry about it pushing or floating out of the ground.

They are different sizes. I have friends who just moved into Tamarind Grove. They wanted gas appliances and they had a HUGE propane tank installed. I think mine is about 60 gallons.......but I'm up north right now and I'm not sure.
