Where can we get a filled propane tank to use with the BBQ? Where can we have it refilled. Hubby looked online and the place we went to was no longer there Thanks for your help.

Ace hardware in Southern Trace will refill. Lowes/Home Depot has a tank exchange.

I get mine filled at Ace Hardware on 466 in Southern Trace Shopping Ctr.

Bonus there is the only charge you for the amount it takes to top it up, not for the full size of the tank.

They have tanks you can buy also.

Hope that helps.

Ladydoc, we go to True Value( or is it Ace?) in Wildwood on 301. They charge by weight, so if it isn't full, you only pay for what is dispensed. Up north, we paid the price to fill it up, as if it was empty.

If you get one of those moving packets from the post office there is a $10 coupon for Ace Hardware. New tank purchase plus fill up was only $37 with the coupon. I also noticed that Walgreens at Colony Plaza had the Blue Rhino rental tanks filled. That's where you don't own the tank but you do have to pay extra for the first one. I believe they were charging $22, back in Maryland I only paid $19 for Blue Rhino, so I guess I'll stay with Ace since with them I actually own the tank.

I get my refills at Ace but when the tank starts looking rusty and the knob gets hard to turn, I go to Walgreen's and swap it for a new Rhino and then start going to Ace again.

I believe Ace in La Plaza Grande will fill tanks. Also, Blue Parrot RV Park on CR 25 on the East side of the historic area will fill tanks.

We got ours filled at the Fruitland Park Ace on 441 going towards Leesburg.
Cost is 16.60 out the door for 20 lbs.

That's a good price for TV.

I paid $13.82 last month here in the Norcal superboonies (aka BF Eqypt).

If anyone needs a spare tank (empty and used), I have a few. $10 each, which is alot better than the $38 you'll pay at Wal-Mart for a new one. Insurance against running out of fuel in the middle of grilling a nice juicy steak. You can email me at garycor@centurylink.net

The ACE on 441 does NOT fill tanks. Of course, that is the one we initially went to. They will trade an empty one for a full one, but you can not BUY a filled on. The ACE on 466 sells tanks and then they will fill them.

Last spring we were having a family barbeque and I asked my brother to bring a propane tank just in case mine went empty. He did but said it was the first time he was invited to a barbeque where he had to supply the propane. haha!
