Has anyone done comparison shopping of the carts? Are there some dealers better than others? All we have done so far on our initial visit is look in TV.

FWIW - - - only speaking of new Yamaha carts....and just my perspectives:
In past years, The Villages Golf Car Store used to price their Yamaha carts higher than the other area authorized dealer, Carts and Clubs in Ocala. Since the overall economic downturn, I feel the TV stores have virtually eliminated this issue as the prices are more on par nowadays.
Look at the finished product both stores offer and pass judgement for yourself as far as what you feel you're getting for your money. We bought ours in Ocala as we liked a few things about how they build their carts that the TV dealer didn't offer.
Some will feel more comfortable buying from the TV dealer given that they're so close by versus Carts and Clubs being out of Ocala. C&C does have on-site service and pick-up/delivery on a scheduled basis during the week. Again, there's a factor you'll have to assign your own value to.
Both dealerships have quality people on staff. C&C is run as a smaller family business - chances are you'll be dealing with the owners - whereas the TV stores operate with much larger sales staffs.
Again, JMHO - - -

We didn't do much comparison shopping on our first cart and bought at TV store at Sumter Landing. Totally pleased with service of a minor oil leak and some other minor issues. They even replaced gratis a broken windshield a few days after the one year warranty without any hesitation. I have been thoroughly pleased and would use them again even if they were slightly higher in price.
I'm sure there are other quality dealers but would check with TOTV before buying from anyone.
