Professor Thomas Sowell is one of the great minds in the world. I think he is spot- on of his evaluation of this destructive regime in the White House.

Pure tripe. I find it amusing, though, that Village Golfer thinks that Sowell is such a great mind when he used to be sympathetic to Marxism. The interview was pure tripe and so was what Sowell said. He made one remark that, to me, showed his true path. He said that Obama made appointments without confirmatiions and the only way we found out about them was on FOX News. Anyone who would say that, and used to be a great mind, has lost his mind.

Did he say that he only watches Fox news? Did he say that maybe he was channel-surfing and heard that? Would his mind been not lost had he heard the news on MSNBC? You want tripe? Tune in to MSNBC and listen to Chis Mathews and his ilk.

Another brilliant commentary by the incomparable Thomas Sowell. Can't dispute his findings, so it's time to try to destroy the messenger. And............we're off.

Just curious, could you tell us what part of the commentary was a "piece of junk" and which parts were "nonsense".
You were right Richie, destroy the messenger.

You are correct with what you say about "commentary is a persons opinion" and is often presented here as FACT to make a point.
The thing about good commentary is the backing up of it by facts....
I suggest to you and others to read about our Presidents background..his "jobs"....his assocaites...those who trained him..PLEASE..it will put into proper perspective what is being said.
You can not want to hear it, but he WAS a community organizer, perhaps his ONLY job EVER in life...this is what he did...he lived and loved the rules that they worked by. Many folks have lived and used Alinsky's rules but Obama is and has been considered a master of them.
I suggest that on BOTH sides of the aisle, you continue to recognize commentary but listen to the facts used to substantiate those views.

When one tends to disagree with the commentary it is called "opinion" However if one agrees it is called "fact."
Here is Peggy Noonan"s opinion concerning Obama in this AM's edition of WSJ.
regarding Obama's Thursday night speech on job creation "They put too much weight on the back of a single address. The good news is that few may be listening. The bad news is that's because " Obama Is About to Solve Our Problems" is not a compelling headline in a country that is starting to think
"Obama Is Our Problem." Opinion or fact you choose. However with the latest stats indicating no jobs created in August many many people seem to share Peggy Noonan's opinion. My opinion I find this fact startling in that the high schooler on the street knows that reduction in regulation and taxes spurs growth and the country continues after to QE's plus dozen of other stimulus plans and were still 9%+ unemployment rate with some double digits in pockets around the country...Now that is fact

it is NOT a fact that reductions in regulations and reductions in taxes creates more jobs.It is the opinion of some people. How many jobs did the Bush tax cuts create? None? Maybe a few? According to your facts everyone should be working.

And it does not matter wether you agree or disagree with the commentary....by definition commentary is a persons OPINION,plain and simple.
