Well, this about seals the end; driving the last nail into the coffin of the crazy ride that was the Ron Paul presidential campaign. Way to get that nomination, sir.

Never once did I ever consider Paul a viable candidate.
Rubio, Christie and Ryan all turned down the opportunity. do you suppose they know something we don't. Do you suppose they view the position at this juncture a widow maker? Could be ?????

When it came to fiscal issues, a lot of what Ron Paul rang true with me, and if he was just going to be in a position to handle that limited scope he would probably be a good choice.
His wrong headedness and less than patriotic stance on this country's conflict with the forces of radical Islam is not something any right thinking American can ignore.
Rubio, in that article from March just resurfacing on this forum, said he would not run for President. If the right opportunity came for him to be on a Presidential ticket as Vice-President came along; who knows?
I'm not a big Christie supporter, but I'll leave that for another time.

Quite honestly my number one pick is Marco Rubio. His appreciation of what America represents and what it offers leads me to believe that he would lead with honor respect and integrity. He is well spoken and intelligent. He is very balanced in his approach and applies a" common sense approach" that the majority of us understand and can live with. I do agree with you that he would bolster the ticket if he ran as VP.
