It's a done deal!

I don't post on this site too often...maybe now and then...but I sure soak it all in....especially the postives!

Today I closed on my beautiful new Iris-on-the-Lake in one of the newer villages. Due to personal committments up here in WNY, I was unable to be there for the closing. It was a long road......ups and downs......paperwork galore (not my fav!). However, today was the culmination of dreams that I have had for many years.

I am known as swimdawg because.........I swim at least 1/2 mile every day...and my dawg, Lexi, is the Navy Seabee Mascot.

I came home from swimming this morning and received phone calls from The Villages saying that everything went well and I owned a home in TV. Then my sales rep, Crystal, called and said the initial walk-thru went great. Yay!

I wasn't able to step foot in my house but I had second best. My dear beloved friend, GRACIE, who was extremely instrumental in getting me to pursue my dream to live in Lower Paradise, was the first to step foot in my new house....along with her wonderful loved ones. I can't tell you how grateful I am...she is THE BEST. Sorry...forum...for getting personal......but I rarely write....and she deserves it!

So......it's a done deal. I am a home owner in The Villages! Unbelievable.

Thanks to TOTV for all the positives......knowledge, advice and friends.

And all I can say......a week from Sunday........when I get off that plane...
