We just came back from a Farmer's Market in Old Town Alexandria, VA, one of the oldest if not the oldest continuing market in the U.S. These days they promote more organic farm products. Are there Farmer's Markets in or near TV? Where might we be able to purchase locally grown vegetables and fruits?:)

Market of Marion about five miles North of TV on 441.

In Lady Lake just South of intersection of 441 and 466.

I believe there is also one in Wildwood.

Webster Flea Market on Mondays about 20 miles south of TV 301 to 471

There is also one on 301 south between 42 and 466. I think it is called Brown's Country Market. Lots of fresh vegetables and processed preserves, and other goods.

Wildwood has one every Saturday morning on Main Street, near City Hall, I think. They usually have an ad up at the very top of the TOTV page.

Looks like there are places to purchase fresh produce. Also, heard that Florida is a big meat state. Wonder where you get good meat? Would getting fresh fish be difficult since this is Central Florida?:icon_wink:
