Keith Olbermann? The most hate filled partisan hack the world has ever known. A man who was even "too leftist" for MSNBC? This is the news source for a self professed "conservative"
What a hatchet job this is.

For what it may be worth, I am totally disappoined that anyone would post that video on a site that I frequent.
Olbermann, the absolute king of edited videos...the man who is so filled with hate, that those on the left dont like him. It is dated, edited and simply trash. This is NOT political discussion, this is simply what I think they call in the internet world....flaming.
From my perspective this has nothing to do with left or right, Democrat or Republican, or the health bill for which this protest took place quite some time ago, but speaks to the type of rhetoric we have now.
Whomever looked this up and posted it was simply looking for trouble...simply trying to create a stir with more hate talk.
I feel EXACTLY the same way about the edited videos that surface from time to time on President Obama...this is really terrible.

I agree Bucco. Please, don't take the bait people. It is flame bait Bucco. Why would you search and post such an old video except to stir people up and try to start arguments. We are all better than that.

You are absolutely correct.....I want those who post this trash to be shown on here.....I want them to be embarassed as they should. This poster is a con artist with his/her posts.....simply another flame thrower, and probably one of those who keep appearing on here with a new name....administrators have a tough job keeping them out...so lets flush them out for exactly what they are.....
How can people be filled with such hate ?
ps...You are right BK...should just ignore......but we just should not have to deal with crap like this. Whether you are Democratic or Republican, left of right, liberal or conservative or whatever....you should express your opinions but hatchet jobs and hate mongering have no place. I have learned so much in my years on here....from both sides, but now they dont even make any pretense about caring or wanting to discuss....just smear people....some kind of hate !

When I stated that a You Tube video had been obviously edited against President Obama, I was told by several members of the forum here that I was wrong. When your girl, Michelle Bachmann, is talking these hateful messages, the You Tube must be edited. Are we not serving the same sauce?
Can anyone put the entire "unedited" You Tube out here so we can see if it is indeed an edited and chopped clip? I would be very intereted to know the whole truth.
If this really is an edited clip by Olberman, it is terrible. If it is, though, what Bachmann said, she is terrible for doing so.
Let's see the "unedited" version, plese.
PLEASE put me on ignore whatever name you are using today !!! You wouldnt want to read about issues anyway...I dont try to smear so you wont be interested...PLEASE you promise...put me on ignore

Bucco,
If you had noticed, about 2 minutes after posting my message, I deleted it. It was not worthy of posting. I checked the dating of the video and found it was over 2 years old.
Once again, I posted, I deleted, my bad. Hope you accept my apology for this previous post.

Of course he can't find one, because there isn't any. To compare any commentator mentioned to the total odiousness that is Keith Olbermann is ludicrous. Olbermann was fired by left wing media because he was too radical and hateful. That about says it all.

Sorry I posted this one and thank you all for pointing it out. This is the stuff that will even stop the jerk train from running out of control. Keep on keeping everyone honest and fair and this board will turn into the site we can all respect.

The jerk train is anyone that slings insults at other members as opposed to debating or discussing a topic. I use that because I have enough respect for everyone on this board never to use a login name. Its not name calling, its a less agressive way of referring to board members that insult other members with personal attacks. I think speaking in general terms is more sensitive to others feelings.

Ummm.. Beck got in trouble for using the wrong footage of gatherings in D.C. to make his rally, and rallies he sympathized with, look bigger than they actually were. In some cases you could see the weather completely at odds with what was supposed to be going on (overcast when it should have been clear, etc).
Beck later said that it was a mistake in editing by his staff. Yet he crowed about how small his staff was (compared to The Daily Show) when he was saying his goodbyes. Made it a bit more difficult to believe he didn't know.

I would like to see some link to that story, because with all my reading I've never come across this, and with all the rabid Beck hate I doubt I would have missed this.
Please provide some proof of these "altered photos" claim you're making because that is quite a charge. Even CBS News aerial photo experts are just quibbling with Beck's people over the analyzation of the photo's crowd finding's numbers. It doesn't portend to claim that Beck or his staff fabricated anything.

My research came up with:
Glenn Beck did not say how many attended, but did say he was told that between 300,000 and 500,000 were in attendance. The final tally came to 78,000. Not half a million, but a large crowd none the less. I think Glenn gets a free pass on this one.

http://www.thewrap.com/media/column-post/glenn-beck-rally-draws-questions-about-crowd-size-20473
"We are humbled that you are here," he continued. "The reflecting pool holds about 200,000 people. This field back here holds about 250 to 300,000 people. They are not only full here, they're full in that field, they're full behind me, and they are now across the street approaching the Washington Monument."

Ok, I goofed.
Beck's footage was used - but it was used by HANNITY to make the anti-Obamacare rally look bigger than it actually was. He was using the footage from Beck's rally.
It took some digging, but I did finally find the clip that I was thinking of:
http://vodpod.com/watch/2500379-daily-show-sean-hannity-uses-glenn-becks-protest-footage
Mea culpa. I inadvertantly remembered Beck (and forgot Hannity) from this 2009 story and when I saw Beck's farewell speech dig at Jon Stewart THIS year, well, that's how I put the two together when I shouldn't have.

I think the conclusion is that BIAS runs rampant on both sides, and nobody should be relying on just one or two sources of news on t.v. or online.
Also, nobody should be relying on just "entertainers" and their commentary some call "News Programming".

You may call some commentators "entertainers" to demean their importance to the discussions at hand because you don't like what they have to say, but that will only satisfy your partisan bias, and not the political reality of their influence.

They beg differentiation. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Glenn Beck are commentators first, and find humor in the subject matter at times. Jon Stewart; a little less so on the commentary first. Stewart primarily uses humor first, to illustrate his commentary and is often brilliant. Colbert, IMHO, is primarily a clown; good for a laugh at someone else's expense (at least if the object of scorn is a Republican). Bill Maher is just a hateful miscreant who thinks defaming Republican's is a spectator sport, and the excuse for his venom is, "I'm just a comedian".
That's my analysis.............back to you, Chet.

Obama’s reliance on the teleprompter is unusual — not only because he is famous for his oratory, but because no other president has used one so consistently and at so many events, large and small.
Obama has caused huge problems for the media. They have to angle all their camera shots to not include the telepromters.
