When I need to recycle I usually go to the Lake County Center off Rolling Acres Rd. However, I have been told that I'm not eligible to recycle there as I live in Sumter County although I have never been refused there.

However, across the street from the gas station on 466a there is a recycling center but I think that that center is just for commercial recycling. Does anyone know whether this center is open to the public?

This center is for construction waste ..........NO household and NO white goods. Can buy clay or fill dirt there by the truck load.

I was there yesterday at Rolling Acres. They now will ask you if you live in Lady Lake, Lake county and your zipcode. I have a Lady lake address but live in Sumter. I told the guy I live in Lady Lake. It's on my driver's license.

Sumter County does have a recycle drop off at the Solid Waste facility at Lake Panasoffkee.
