:icon_hungry:This restaurant looks eerie on the outside but don't let that stop you from patronizing it. State Rte. 44 west toward Inverness just past the Withalacoochi River crossing on your right is the restaurant. Family run business with a well varied menu and daily specials. Prices are great and a great bang for your buck! Each Thurs. has a rotating special dinner feature: first week is lasagna, second week is prime rib, third week is turkey and fourth is again prime rib. Salad, bread, vegetable, potato are included. Call ahead for Thursday special reservations. Inside is quaint and clean!

You are right! This restaurant is a real sleeper. Try the fresh sweet potato chips. When they have their Prime Rib Sandwich, it is worth driving from Alaska!

Good secret plan! Bob, the owner and food master, likes customers who poke their head through the kitchen door and thank him. He's a real down-to-earth guy but keep it "hush-hush" so the word doesn't get around.

Um...djl. It sounds wonderful and we will surely try it..but I just kinda thought that since it is called FISHERMANS restaurant they would have fish specials. You mentioned some yummy things, but no fish.
My husband has heard good things about it too. I bet their fish is good too.

Gracie, Their Haddock is super! Not to mention some really decent crab cakes.

Shush the secret is getting out!
We really enjoyed our dinner at the Fisherman's Restaurant. I agree the haddock was very good and my husband and mother both catfish lovers said the catfish was also very good.

They have many fish items on their menu, Gracie Girl, both fresh and ocean varieties. Others in our group have had haddock and fish & chips and loved them. They really have a varied menu for all tastes. For steak lovers, how about an 18oz boneless delmonico for $18.95?!

How was it? How did it compare to the "steak joints"?
