Hi Everyone!
Not sure I am in the right place or not...mods please move if not.
I found this forum while trying to track down some relatives that I have never met. During my research, I discovered they have moved from NY to The Villages in Florida.
I do not know if either would be active online (both are about 75 years old), but I am hoping there is a slim chance maybe somebody on this forum might know them? I would like to not publish there names online, but I can send all the info I have in a PM if somebody would like to try to help me.
I have not found a public phone directory for The Villages, and stumbled across this site during that process. I have know idea how large the community is, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks for any help!

Is that part of the Villages? I have their address also and it is The Villages Florida 32162 (I do not want to put the street/house # up online)

There are several sites on the net that you can look up a phone number by inserting the address.

Also try to Google the address.
Since you have their address, have you thought about writing them a letter? Yea, I know that is kinda old fashion.....but it might just work.

Thanks. Trust me, I have spent a lot of time researching online. I have found 2 phone numbers, both disconnected and based out of NY. I have found they moved to Florida and my searched ended with this site.
A old fashion letter will be the next step, I just found their address today. There number is not listed, so I figure the only other spot it may be found is a residence directory for The Villages.

You could also try searching The Villages three county assessors websites:

The Villages doesn't show on some GPSs and zip code directories. It shows as Lady Lake, FL, and now maybe Wildwood with the new building in the South of TV.

Lived in Mt. View for a few years, then southern CA for 32.
I'll assume you now have the address for these relatives. Hope they are the people you're looking for. A letter to them might be the way to go.

Did anybody ever stop and ask the intent of this person's search. It probably is innocent but I haven't heard this person's motive.

If you would like to PM me, you could ask. Basically this option is a lot cheaper then ancestry.com

You have a name and Address and can't find them. HHHHUUUUMMMMM I would recommend not getting involved with his guy. Sounds very suspicious to me. He can contact the local police for information. I would suggest anyone that has a PM from this guy to hang onto it and even contact the person in the villages to inform them of whats going on behind their back.

Ditto. This is a PUBLIC forum and personal information should NOT be shared through a PM or otherwise. Maybe these people don't want to be "found".

I wasn't even going to reply to this thread again, I understand the concern and just want to make some thing clear.
I NEVER asked for any information or contact info. The individuals that PM'd me were given MY info and asked that it be passed along.
When I found this site and signed up here, I DID NOT have the address at the time. I do now and will be sending a letter. I did not want to sign up for a scam site that said I could get an address and have my card charged monthly for whatever "service" they were providing. That is why I ended up joining here and asking for help.
I am not soliciting ANYTHING from ANYBODY. I like that everyone is keeping an eye out for each other. I just wanted clear that up. At this point this thread can be closed. Any ADMIN can feel free to contact me if there is ANY concern that this was an attempt to scam somebody. Again I NEVER asked for anyone's information, just that mine be passed along if they happened to know them.

One day we got a call from the Villages main number (might have been real estate, perhaps customer service). Someone had contacted them trying to track down Mr 07. They called us to pass along the info to do with as we wish. Sounds similar to what Thrasher was trying to accomplish. Yes, caution is warranted but there are ways to stay protected.

If you have their address, go to ANYWHO.com. Type in the info you have and you should get a phone number. Not sure though if the search covers Comcast subscribers. Doesn't hurt to try
