This Sunday, September 11, 2011 will mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. It is a solemn occasion and a chance to honor those who died and the heroes that emerged that day. On this day, it is appropriate to fly your American flag at half staff from sunrise to sunset. Many Americans will also be displaying other memorial flags and decorations at their homes and offices. The day will be marked with memorial services and events to honor the service men and women all across the country.
