Except that he's a might selective in his memory. Half the things on his list came from Bush (like the stimulus package) and others were tried by many Presidents before him (like socialized health care) and even had the same warning (then-inconceivable $100B deficits under Reagan).

What *is* new is that there are several 24/7 news channels screaming all kinds of Chicken Little to make ratings.

Although I tire of the 24/7 news, no matter which color, blue or red.
I am thankful that there are those shows because if you follow only the "Big Three" you would think we have elected a new king and everything is great.
He may, and I mean may, have meant good but he has no good solutions for our time and place. Maybe if the economy was cooking we would not pay as much attention to all the other very liberal ideas he has. But is isn't and we are!
I don't really think he is a socialist but just a really really liberal person and we have bigger problems than he knows how to fix.

A disaster by any other name is a disaster.

Obama's short comings are having immediate negative effects on our country. Worse yet he has set into place policies, etc that will negatively effect this country in years to come...many along our foreign policy wherein our enemies will mayke good use of his failings.

So I for one continue to rue the day this guy was voted in
