I am creating a dry riverbed using pebbles, sand and ornamental grasses. The finishing touch is a piece of driftwood. Can you recommend a vendor? I saw some wood on Rolling Acres, and another near Market of Marion, but as both are on the well known track, I would like to know if there are less obvious markets? The cost might be less at a no-name type of vendor. The photo shows the dead grass which has since been removed. Thanks.

We have been also looking and the only place we found was the one on Rt441 headed toward Market at Marion. Her prices seamed high, so we are still looking. If you find any, please leave us know.:)

Try giving the Villages Woodshop a call 751-0513 they may have a local supplier in their database.

Thanks for the information. Beats waiting for the tide to go out, as instructed previously :)

We found an excellent place for driftwood, at very affordable prices on Rt 441 near the Dirt company and Market of Marion. Bobo's - a fraction of the price of less attractive selections on 301.

I love Bobo's! Bought two great pieces and treated them for indoor use.
Found exactly what I wanted there.
