1. Watching the sand hill cranes walk brazenly on my lawn.
2. Waving hi and stopping to pet dogs as they're being walked by my neighbors.
3. Waving hi to others on golf carts.
4. Just driving around in my golf cart when there's a nice breeze.
5. Sitting on my lanai in the morning and watching the squirrel torment my cats (he hangs on the screens and they go crazy).
6. Sitting on my lanai in the afternoon and watching the birds swoop.
7. Discovering a jeweled dragonfly sitting on a plant.
8. Having the freedom and feeling safe enough to be able to come and go as I please when I please, even in the middle of the night if I so choose.
9. Enjoying watching people enjoy themselves, whether at a Square, in their golf cart, visiting friends and neighbors on their lanias.

What redwitch said!

I'll add a few more:
Breathtaking blue skies with clouds that go to forever.
Rainbows that are HUGE.
Little anoles and delicate butterflies.
Palm trees and crepe myrtles in bloom.

The humbleness I feel when my neighbors in TV inspire me to embrace the joy of life.
We have a lot of heroes and teachers here.
