Hello dear TOTV friends, I wanted to share something that is time sensitive with you that I thought some of you, or someone you know, might find interesting, and that I think is very important to some of you or your friends/loved ones. I know that this may not be for you; but I'm not looking for everyone. You will know if you are one of the ones that this is right for. It might help someone you know, if not you.
Here is the scoop: This weekend's USA Today's (Sept 24-26 edition) entire magazine section - go get one! - profiles the direct selling industry, and some of the most prominent companies in it, including Usana Health Sciences (NYSE: USNA, founded in 1992, headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT), the company that we are proud represent as advertisers on TOTV. I encourage you to read it, cover to cover. Many business experts explain how sound, savvy, and smart, not to mention exciting, intellectually and personally satisfying and fulfilling, and fun, it is to be a part of this industry.
Not only the health advantages offered by excellence of the products, but the business opportunity that Usana, a company that is highly regarded by both business and industry, offers is a solution to many of the financial struggles, uncertainty and hardship that the economy is bringing not just to our generation, but to the increasingly discouraged young people. You have probably heard the news stories that the recession is putting us at risk for an entire lost generation of the work force because of the lack of jobs for our young people. And yet, in our company, we see huge organizations of young people working enjoyably with their friends and business acquaintances, building permanent businesses together through teamwork and determination, gaining a high level of absolute financial and time freedom and independence at a very young age (some of them even financially supporting their parents), and living a life of passion and optimism about their futures. Usana is their career, and they have already achieved great success at a very young age, because they saw something that could give them the life they wanted, and they rolled up their sleeves and did it. I was never exposed to this business model in my 20s and I so admire those young people and envy them for the lifelong freedom they are creating at such young ages. They are really 'shaking and baking'.
The same is true for the other age people in our company, and we, too, are able to - and are - building successful businesses, and helping others as we do so. It's just that I have a deep concern about the many despondent and disenchanted young people who have no idea how to provide even a present living, let alone a financially secure future, for themselves; and you may know some who are looking for the answer. You could do them a favor and steer them, or yourself, toward a serious look at this industry. Opportunity still exists - actually it is greater than ever today in our industry; people just have to be willing to seize it where it is; not where it used to be, where they wish it was, or where they think it should be.
We are in an information age; and those who make that their business will reap the rewards, not just for themselves, but for the future generations of their families who will inherit their ongoing business income, as occurs in some companies, such as Usana. (This enables us to create and leave our heirs a family legacy in perpetuity, without the pressure of worrying about not spending the money that we have already amassed).
I encourage you to educate yourself on this industry, as it is such a clear solution (and, actually, in my and many other people's opinion, it is the only true solution) to so many health (or other benefits from products and services that these companies produce) and financial problems today. Frankly, many people today don't have any choice but to become involved in this industry; although they may not realize it; and for many of them, the reason they don't realize it is that they don't even know it exists. The answer that many people of all ages are looking for is right before their eyes, and yet they miss out on it because of lack of knowledge about it, or because of myths, or mistaken assumptions and perceptions; as I did, also, for my first 52 years. But, oh, I finally got it. And when I did what a lightbulb came on. I could hardly believe that with all of my higher education I had remained totally ignorant about something that was the most intelligent thing of all.
There are many good companies in the direct selling industry; and believe it or not, building a business with them, or at least with Usana, does not involve you becoming a salesperson (not to disparage sales, a noble profession, and I buy many things from salespeople; it's just that there is an art to that that you do not have to have to do what I do; this industry developed as a way for ordinary people to be involved in the distribution of products and services without having to be good at sales). (If it did, I would never have been successful at it. I was already very familiar, from my law practice, with working hard, so I didn't need another business that would require that. What I had needed, and didn't realize it [didn't know that it existed], was a business where working hard was not really that important or valuable; but where what mattered most were: growing into and becoming a better person, learning how to get out of my own way and focus on the needs of other people, courage, and working smart; and which would show me how to do that).
At a time when the economy is down worldwide, with no reliable end in sight, Usana (and, therefore, also its associates) is in its 9th consecutive year of domestic and international record sales growth; almost unheard of today. How could that be? That growth is driven by a combination of unparalleled excellence in science that goes into the products, coupled with the excitement of highly motivated entrepreneurs who, as soon as they realized that they had stumbled into a man, and a company, that are truly great, and about which there is a moral imperative to share, have seized the bull by the horns, not waiting and hoping for the economy or the government to fix things, or for the stock market to save them; and who, working for themselves, as parttime or fulltime as they choose, have harnessed the power of a simple, equitable yet lucrative, logical, and professional business model. They are high schoolers, college students, young parents, middle agers, Boomers, and octogenarians (and older). They are high school dropouts, doctors brokers lawyers and other professionals, middle managers, single parents, blue collar workers, homemakers, healthcare workers, disabled people, and ministers. The only common denominators: (1) they did not accept that life for themselves or others should be spent in struggle or that they should 'settle', and (2) they found what they were looking for. Go where the success is - by the way, that is also where the fun usually is; everyone loves a winner.
Brian Tracy, a preeminent self-development expert, once said, "Skeptical people don't try . . . and so they remain unsuccessful." When I first heard this quote in 2003 it hit me between the eyes like a 2 X 4. It was so true of me, described me perfectly, and had kept me stuck in a career that was financially successful but not successful on a level of personal fulfillment or lifestyle freedom. That quote set me on a path that changed my life in many positive ways.
If any of this hits a nerve with you, or someone you know, and if they are at least age 18, contact me (352-561-8563), or go to our website, bravo.usana.com, and watch the videos at the 'Online Presentation' to learn more about Usana. Read information at the links at the top of the page. The more you look, the more likely you are to see it as 'the one'. Or, at least, learn more about this industry and find a company in it that you can believe in and that can help you generate the extra stream of income that is the missing link that is keeping so many people today feeling some degree of financial stress, and forcing them to give up on their dreams. How to do the business? Easy, that's what I'm great at showing people. The bigger question, which each person has to answer for themself, is why to do it. The good thing is that no 'why' is too big.
More than 50% of American businesses today are small businesses; and a quickly growing large percentage of those are homebased businesses; for the reasons mentioned above, including the tax advantages that, in and of themselves, make having a homebased business a no-brainer and a necessity of financial savviness today, and also eliminating the stress and risk/capital investment of a traditional small business (in fact, in our business we spend money that we are already spending, that is currently merely an out-go - expense - on something that is better and that can enable us to have an income-producing business; and yes, it does sound too good to be true, but it is). This industry is where more return for less - but smart - work is the norm for people who take it seriously. Homebased business - don't have a home without one! (Because if you don't, you are one of the people who almost for sure are still overpaying your income taxes!)
Here's another possibility that a Usana business creates. Instead of fretting and handwringing about the American jobs, money, business etc that have gone and are continuing (and will continue in the future) to go overseas, DO something about it! Partner with a company that makes it possible for you to connect with others and build an international business, and have international markets buy American-made Usana products, so you can personally be a part of bringing some of that productivity, business, and money back here to the United States and, in fact, to your own bank account in the United States; then spend some or all of that additional weekly income you will receive each Friday, by autodeposit, to help further stimulate our economy!
How could this happen, you may ask? (Now, you may not personally know anyone in, for example, Japan; however, your hairdresser, or someone else you may mention your business to, may have a local friend who moved here from Japan, and who has hundreds of friends and family in Japan; and many of whom would also like to earn an additional stream of income. Whether or not you are the one who talks to the hairdresser, who then talks to or connects you with their friend from Japan, someone sooner or later will. But if it's you who helps this one Japanese - or Australian, etc - person, who let's say lives in Leesburg or The Villages, get started with Usana, then as that person connects with the people they know in Japan - or Australia, etc - and they do the same, your own business grows from all of this effort by others, much of it while you are sleeping; and eventually a large and growing number of people in Japan - or Australia, etc, and also you, since all of this organization is a part of your business and therefore you receive from Usana income based on that productivity that is occurring in Japan - or Australia, etc. - are gaining greater financial security, feeling better, losing weight, having less problems with arthritis colds hypertension and other illness, and are looking younger and better - all wonderful things happening, because of your connection to one person from which this activity started, and because you had the heart to help someone learn about an opportunity to improve their, and others, lives). If you can talk, and if you genuinely care about others (and some people who became successful in this industry didn't actually care that much about other people when they started, and they had to work on this very hard - this is where the personal growth, becoming able to let go and let others in, which is not always easy - but oh, so worth it - for Type-A personalities like some of us are, comes in), you can be successful with this industry.
Whether you are already in TV and just would like additional financial security and regular income without having to change your golf or pickleball schedule, or whether you would like to retire and move to TV but would need income or a way to afford health insurance, and aren't sure that one of the minimum wage jobs here - if you are able to find one - is going to be enough or would permit you to still have the time freedom you would like, or whether you have a nephew who graduated from college last year and is living with his parents while enduring the humiliation and loss of self-esteem of being still searching for a job - I am showing you a way, the absolutely very best way, to fix this. We are building this business together, through teamwork and ef fort; and it will be fun, exciting, and rewarding.
The excellence of the Usana business opportunity, and its 9 consecutive years - and counting - of record sales growth - even in a down economy, resulted from only one thing, which is always necessary for something to last: excellence in its products. Therefore, consider using the products as a customer, if not the business opportunity; because if you knew what I have learned about the Usana products, you would not go a single day without them.
Wishing you the best, Freeda
