If you had dental implants done, could you please tell me who did it, if you were happy with their implants and about how much it cost.

I'm in the process now up north and it's expensive. I want to say all totaled $5,000,00. Mine may be more because I have "issues" with my teeth anyway.

I started looking for implants back in 1983 for four teeth. I was told the two back were easy but the two front could not be done. I kept checking every couple years and each time the odds of success improved with the technology. When I finally decided to do them, it was when they told me "no problem, 95% chance pf success".
I now have four, 2 lower back and 2 upper front. Had all four done at the same time in 1995, so they are 16 years old. Total cost back then was about $6500 and dental insurance only paid a couple hundred. Absolutely no regrets, would do it again if required. No problems except the upper front are a challenge to floss under as they are very tight to the gums. So have to use a water pik sometimes to keep them clean under the teeth. Back then it took a total of about 8 months to complete the process. These were done in Northern Virginia.
If you need them, find a doctor who has done a lot and get them They are worth every penny.

Had 3 done by Dr. Cayler in Laural Manor last year...he's an oral surgeon and VERY good. You'd have to call his office as his prices may vary as per where they're needed. As someone else said here they're expensive but in my opinion better than the alternative of dentures. Folks I know who have those have nothing but complaints about fit etc.

Your not alone, me too. Lol! Ironically, the cost is about the same.

An update since I originally posted. I went to Dr. Ta and I am having two implants done. One tooth was already pulled and she had to pull the other one. The total cost with two caps was $6900.00. I like her and her office staff and am going to use her for all my dental work. I need to have a root canal done and two caps and she is very reasonable. I would recommend her highly.

I had one done in NC two years ago. No trouble but it was about $5,000 from pulling the broken tooth to getting the implant in. I'd do it again, but hope i don't need too.

I also had an implant done about 5 years ago. It's the best tooth I have at a cost of $4,000. My husband says if he'd known I had such expensive teeth to fix he would have had a survey done on me before he married me.

I had one done in MA. and the cost was $3000 last year. While I find it pricey, I am totally satisfied.
