We close tomorrow at 1:30 and then heading south to our new life and home! Hoping to meet all of the great people we view on the forum who have been so kind, helpful and have guided through this journey with boundless information!

Congrats!!! We are closing on the 17th of oct. and leaving to visit our "dirt"!!!
Bringing our 20% with us. We are building in Sanibel on Raven Croft terrace. What a long ordeal getting to this point!!! I won't wish the trauma on my worest enemy!!!:pepper2:

I'm so happy for you!!!!! We are closing on our house next week here in California. We will head for Florida the first week of November to pick out a home or lot, not sure which. But we are sure of The Villages. It's been a long haul to get to this point, but we are filled with joy, we are so there.

pzjay, Congratulations and I'm wishing you a happy closing, safe travels and happy moving in! According to the Villages weekly recreation newspaper of 9/29/11, the Sanibel pool opened on 9/29 so happy splashing also!

Welcome to you all! We're happy to share your excitement, for not only do we know you will love this place, we are reminded anew of our own happy beginnings here!

Hubby and I are new residents this year, and there hasn't been a day that we don't look around and say that we hope we never become complacent about where we are. This place is truly one of a kind. Thank You for sharing your joy!
