Can anyone tell me who installs Solar Tubes in The Villages, and the
approximate cost of installation. I am assuming we are not allowed
to have roof windows or skylights. The bathrooms are dark, even
with lights on. Thanks for any information.

The Solar Guys has some discount coupons in The Daily Sun when we were in TV last month. Not sure how long that sale runs.

Always best to check with the vendor of your choice for current pricing.

I live in an Anna Maria (Stoneybrook) CYV and have friends living in Bonita/Foxglove models. All of us have installed solar tubes in our bathrooms. We all used the Solar Tube Guys. They are wonderful (both the company and the solar tubes). Any room without windows in your home will benefit from having a solar tube. Get one or more you will not be disappointed.

Do any homes in TV have windows in the bathroom? The ones I have seen during my visits to TV do not. It is very common in my home state for bathrooms to have windows. Anyone know why bathrooms in homes in TV do not have windows?

Many models have windows in the bathrooms. Our guest bath has a window, our master does not. Many designer homes have windows in the master bath, but not in the guest bath. It really depends on the type of home.

The Begonia, Sunflower and Gardenia have windows in the bathrooms. The Lily has windows in the master, but not the guest bath. I don't know about the others. You can look at the floor plans and tell where there are windows and where ther is not.

My designer (begonia I think) has block windows (light comes in but you can not see through them) in both bathrooms. Plenty of light. The kitchen on the other hand...

Light is nice but I'm quite satisfied with the bright lights over the mirror in my guest bathroom! Sure beats the cost of a solar tube. How many people use their guest bath anyway? Just curious.

Depends on what model you have and what you use the rooms near it for. We have a Lantana and the guest bath is near the two other bedrooms. The large front room is our "den" and the guest bath is really close by when needed.

I guess we each have to decide what we want in our home. Personally, I find natural light more comfortable than artificial light. They aren't cheap, that's for sure, but for those who really prefer daylight in windowless rooms, they are wonderful.
