Cain smoked O'Donnell. I think he did a great job of answering all the questions and showed class far beyond O'Donnell's negatively phrased questions. After watching Cain in action, I now have two candidates I could put my support behind. :clap2:

I saw him speak at Laurel Manor a few months ago, and right then, I knew he was a leader who wasn't more concerned with his own political ambitions than getting a job done.

In a debate, he will have Obama for lunch.

I think he's smart enough to know that he needs expert advisers on areas that he himself is not expert on.
I have yet to hear his opinion on immigration, foreign policy, and defense.
I'm sort of waiting till we get closer to the election to really get into it as so much can happen between now and then.

Exactly. You surround yourself with the right people. Obama surrounded himself with public sector eggheads that new nothing about the private sector. We need people in government that knows how to get businesses jump started, not throw prohibited roadblocks, that deter growth.

I've heard him speak to foreign policy on a radio interview. He's a fan of Ronald Reagan's take on foreign affairs, he said. The thing I most liked was he said countries that were against us would see their aid from us disappear. He said if you attack Israel, you've attacked the U.S.

O'Donnell had the nerve to try to paint Cain as "not black enough". What white reporter/interviewer could conduct a racially charged interview with a black liberal and get away with it?

Cain did indeed put him in his place and I don't know too many on the trail, other than Romney, who would have been that effective in that atmosphere.

Herman Cain has a very clear set of principles that will guide his foreign policy. This is what underlay the policies of Presidents such as Truman, Eisenhower and Reagan. In contrast to them, please tell me of the success of such Democrats as Lyndon (hey, hey LBJ how many men have killed today?) Johnson, Jimmy Carter - so you overrun our embassy we will not strike back in return, Bill Clinton - attack our ships and attack the World Trade Center - it's OK, we will not do anything in response?

This nation needs a leader that is respected by others and is sure that attacks on us will be met and overwhelmingly met.

This is why Ayatollah Khomeini ignored the threats of the Carter administration and immediately released the prisoners after the election of Ronald Reagan. He knew that the United States under a strong leader would destroy him. Our President, by contrast, on taking office embarked on an apology tour to the Muslim nations. Do you believe that they see him as a strong leader that must be respected and feared? If you do, you're a fool. Obama has already bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia and will do so again when challenged.

It's very easy in the end. Do you want a leader or a man who has demonstrated that he cannot lead and that other nations hold in contempt? Cain and another of others can lead; Obama will the best be indecisive.
