by this chronic and continuing attitude. Can anyone here explain to me this need to always be apologizing to others....
"Leaked cables show Japan nixed a presidential apology to Hiroshima and Nagasaki for using nukes to end the overseas contingency operation known as World War II. Will the next president apologize for the current one?
The obsessive need of this president to apologize for American exceptionalism and our defense of freedom continued recently when Barack Obama's State Department (run by Hillary Clinton) contacted the family of al-Qaida propagandist and recruiter Samir Khan to "express its condolences" to his family.
Khan, a right-hand man to Anwar al-Awlaki, was killed along with Awlaki in an airstrike in Yemen on Sept. 30. We apologized for killing a terrorist before he could help kill any more of us."

Apologize for seeking freedom? What does that mean? Apologize that we are Exceptional? What does that mean? Our ancestors died for freedom. We owe no such apologies and we are exceptional.

It's called SUCKING UP to those you want to please.
And do the recipients of the apologies think they are genuine? I think not.

We are exceptional but not without our faults. It takes more of a man to accept and acknowledge faults than taking a macho, superior attitude that we are better than any people or country in the world. But for the grace of God, you could have been born in, oh say, Kenya. :boom:

I still dont get it...sorry ! Apologize for using atomic weapons to end the second world war....an action that by any analysts I have heard saved many many lives.....apologize for ending a war began by the party to whom you apologize. War is not nice....we are not always in the right, but this, to me, makes no sense whatsoever..for the leader of this country to offer apologies to people who had an aim to maim and kill us all and began the hostilities and we apologize almost 70 years later.
Sorry...I am thick I suppose
Of course it must make sense to then apologize to the fellow from Al Queda...we know what sweethearts they are !
