Sorrento, FL— Village of Largo resident Tom Gallagher shot par to win the “Championship Flight” in the Senior Amateur Golf Tour of North Central Florida tournament held Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Eagle Dunes Golf Club. Gallagher recorded two birdies on his way to a 72 and his second Tour win.
Village of Bridgeport resident Jerry Felty shot an 85 to win again in the “B Flight.”
Completing the “Championship Flight” were Dan Johnston, Village of Caroline, coming in second in a score card playoff with Village of Bridgeport of Lake Sumter resident Ron Cooper, after each shot 83.
Village of Amelia’s Tom Caven came in second in the “B Flight” with an 86 and new member John Abbruzzese, Village of Hadley, was third in the “B Flight” with an 88.
