Apparently our President has written a letter informing us that he is sending 100 troops to be "field advisors" in several African countries...Their job is to help Muslim govts defeat the LRA, a group of Christian rebels who are trying to bring probably what we would consider fair treatment for their people...Is this something that we really should be getting involved with? And are we on the wrong side? Does anyone have more information on this topic?

It was reported on a Friday evening - most Americans probably didn't even see it.

And aren't we all just waiting to learn what threat to the security of Americans was involved in the decision.

My opinion is Obama knows there will have to be millions spent in infrastructure and payola benefiting those in power there and that is what it is about.....the $$$$$$$$$....same as Afghanistan, Iraq and all the other places where we spend big $$$$$$$$ for the benefit of the few in power in these rag tag never amount to anything countries (because of their crooked politicians).

The action taken does prove Obama can make a decision when it is in an interest or benefit to his agenda. He knows the American people will do their typical grumble and then settle back to their scrabble game or television set and do nothing about it.

Doing a little digging, the LRA looks like any other terrorist group but cloaking themselves on "God".

It sounds like any other religious terrorist group when you read things like this:

Mutilating people is for terror.

If they're still trying to operate in South Sudan then they are trying to overthrow the new government there that just successfully broke away from Muslim Sudan.

I suspect that the more that true CHristians learn about the LRA, the more they will want to distance themselves from.

These people want to for a government supposedly based on the Ten Commandments. I wonder what the prison terms will be for "coveting they neighbor's goods".

. Please stay on subject. We are talking about the most despicable President in history. This idiot is doing his best to destroy this country. Where is real leadership when we need it?
On a good note, the New England Patriots won 20-16 on a comeback from behind last minute touchdown over the old America's team.

Oh my gosh - really now, you TV folks REALLY, REALLY need to get out of that bubble you live in and into the real world. The LRA has been in existence for several years. Last time I heard about them, the United States considered the LRA a terrorist group.

The LRA is a group the US should have been focused on, instead of spending billions and billions of dollars looking for non-existent WMD's in Iraq.

We like the bubble-We are in the golden years and realize that problems on the other side of the world will be solved by the younger bucks, like we did when we were their age. International politics bore me.

Coralway - take a good look at the LRA. They're another batch of terrorists. If there's any true Christian out there who supports mutilating pregnant women as a 'message to others', well.. I just remember something that I came up with a while back regarding this kind of barbarity...

Typical Christan, wants to go kill somebody. Typical Muslim, wants to go kill somebody. Seems all the same to me.

In closing, My God is better than Your God. So there.
