There is only one rheumatologist in T.V.---doesn't take Secure Horizons and related insurance. There are 3 in Ocala...I'd stay away from Dr. Lafferty (JMHO). You can PM me for the names as I don't have them my me right now, of the other two. Well there may be more but these are in my network. Hoping some other folks respond to your post as I know how frustrating it is when you have a need and don't have a good answer.

What would you want or expect a doctor to do? What have doctors done for your condition in the past? Do they usually prescribe medication? If so, it seems it would only serve to cover up your symptoms but then bring side effects.

Why not try to figure out what has changed in "the last week" to bring it on "with a vengeance!" Could it be a change in your diet? Things like products made with white flour, white sugar, high fructose corn syrup can act as a trigger for many people. And how about stress? These are just some things to think about.

I guess I wasn't very clear on my post. I just moved here, and I was looking for a recommendation for a primary care physician.
Thanks
