Need a little help about golf cart rentals.
Our family (4) are coming to visit us here in April next year and want to have a golf cart to use. Need a gas 4 seater with all the seating facing forward. Looking at about 10 days. Have a couple of them that cannot ride facing backwards. Any recommendations of who to go to for rental? See quite a few advertising and not sure who to get for a quality rental.
We have been told to reserve as soon as possible since rentals go away quickly.
Thanks for any help:gc:

I'm not sure that any of the rental places have 4-seaters all facing forward except maybe The Villages cart remtals (and those are so slow and miserable I'd rather walk). You can try Jim Followell or Grandma and Grandpa's (do a search and you'll find their numbers). Those really are the only two I would recommend.

If the issue is motion sickness, I'd still go for a regular 4-seater. I'm very prone to motion sickness and have found that riding backwards is not a problem.

You might also try H 'n' H Rentals to see if they have 4-seaters (352) 674-9445

Jim Followell is the man. Used him twice for 4-seaters. If anything, his carts were TOO fast. Problem is April is a bust season and 4-seaters could be hard to come by.

We used Jim for our 4 seater rental this past April. I don't think he had one where all fours seats face forward however. Also, rent one asap. We also tried to rent one during the holidays last year but could not get one.
Good Luck!

Tom. Might need Tom Followell's phone number when we meet. Don't need a 4 seater but need to rent golf carts for visitors' next March. I assume he is cheaper than renting from the Village Rental and reliable.

JIM Followell: 352/259-7525. Anything is cheaper and better than The Villages. And, yes, Jim is very reliable.

Thanks for the responses!
Will get on the phone today and follow through on the suggestions. Since we are newbies, and still part-timers, have to get used to "better do it now than later" standards especially when talking about those 4 months that everyone wants.

He DID have a forward facing 4 seater earlier this year as we rented a red and white one.

Yes Yori. Followell carts are quality. Dee(Redwitch) threw his name at me two years ago. You can't go wrong. The Village carts go 14 MPH (if the wind is blowing behind you) Followell's carts are sometimes too fast. It is a no-brainer. I'll discuss it further when we hook up. Can't wait to get down there. Six days and counting.
