Just getting settled in after the move. The grandfather clock made it in one piece, but stops working after an hour, or so. Does anyone know of a reputable repair person that can troubleshoot, and repair, a grandfather clock?

Call Larry Clark at 352-391-2111. Larry knows grandfather clocks and has his own business - and is a Villages resident. Heck of a nice guy, too.

Before calling someone, put a level on all four sides. Sounds like clock is not level. If it is on carpet, the back may be sitting on the tack strip.

I used Roger Soukup (Villages resident) recently and he was extremely knowledgeable with many years of experience. Highly recommend. His number is 352/753-5553. Think you will be happy with this choice.

I would also recommend Larry. Our Grandfather clock did the same thing. Called Larry and he was here in 45 minutes.

Lady Lake Clock Repair. They are endorsed by the Howard Miller Co. The man is very honest, dependable, and goes out of his way.
