Cattle Barons’ Ball in Lake & Sumter County set for Saturday, June 9, 2012
Leesburg, Fla. (May 2012) – Put on your cowboy boots and hat, saddle up and get ready to lasso up a good time for a good cause! The Lake Sumter Unit of the American Cancer Society announces the arrival of its premier event, the tenth annual Cattle Barons’ Ball on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 6 pm at the Lake Receptions in historic Mount Dora, featuring food, games, dancing, entertainment, auctions and much more!
“We’re really excited about how things are coming together. We’re going to have some terrific entertainment, fabulous food and great auction items”, said Ken Knorr, CEO at TH@T Company! and chair of the Cattle Barons’ Ball committee. “Everyone’s guaranteed to have a good time!” Sponsorships, tables and tickets should be reserved early; space is at a premium.
Cattle Barons’ Ball 2012 at beautiful Bella Collina is the place to be in February! A few of our outstanding sponsors include Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, Leesburg Regional Medical Center; South Lake Hospital; TH@T Company; Progress Energy; Lake Medical Imaging & Vascular Institute and Florida Hospital Waterman. In addition to gaming, there will be a romantic horse drawn carriage for one couple or many. Silent and live auctions will be held with many terrific prizes including getaways, sporting events and high-end gift baskets. This year, guests will enjoy a variety of tasty vittles from area restaurants.
The 2012 Lake Sumter Cattle Barons’ Ball hopes to raise significant funds to support the American Cancer Society investing in the fight against cancer. The money raised is central to supporting the ACS mission, which aims to focus its efforts in four main areas: research, education, advocacy, and service.
Tickets and table reservations are available, but space is limited. Tickets are $150 per ticket or you can purchase a table for $1,350.
