no hot tubs or spas that I know of in the rec. centers. Also, my mom will be moving here in April and she is not happy that we don't have any enclosed pools for exercise. She is 82 and certainly can't do aquasize in an outdoor pool in the winter, and often it's raining in the summer. She has to move here because we live here, but she's not happpy.........and you know what it's like if your mom's not happpyyy......

Hot tub on the historic side but must have a priority membership to use it.
You are so right about the need for an indoor pool.
There is an indoor swimming pool sitting empty in a building near the hospital.
The building was our wellness center. Without notice everything was closed in 2008 to sell the building. It never sold. Doctors and rehab groups have tried to strike a deal to use the indoor pool. Sad that a pool sits empty when so many people need it.

Larry, we have two hot tubs/jacuzzis on the historic side. The one at Orange Blossom Country Club is used only by priority members. The other hot tub/jacuzzi at South Side is not priority membership. It is a community pool.
There are hot tub/jacuzzis at Hacienda Hills and Glenview Champions. These are the only that I'm aware exist in TV. They are all outdoors under shelter. Anyone know of others?

Only heated indoor pool I know of is at Lake Rehabilitation over by the Sharon Morse Building in SS. I believe you'd have to have a referral to be able to use it. They do have aqua-sizing there but I don't know the details!!
I for one, would LOVE it if there had been whirlpools built...even at the rec pools. They're great therapy and I'd bet people would be lining up to use them. I've seen where folks have them in or on their lanai's.
