All the up dates on what is new construction that is reported in the newspaper nothing is said about brown wood. Is there a site where there is any info? On the west side they are taking a lot of trees out and putting them in the field. This is across from the chev dealer.
This must be as far as the village will be building west unless they intend to enter wildwood. If there is a hospital to be at brown wood is it east or west of bv

Try a search on Brownwood. There have been several posts recently on progress.

The project lies between Rts 44 & 44A between County Rd 139 & Buenna Vista Blvd. The infrastructer is almost complete and there is concrete was out of the ground for at least one bldg. Next to that on the Wildwood side of Rt139 there is supposed to be a mall built ( nothing is started yet though ). I also saw a drawing of the propossed shoping center just west of Buenna Vista on the N. side of Rt 466a. Looks inpressive but nothing is started yet. One of the salesmen had it at an open house I was at.

East of 139 is TV the mall is west of 139. The Hosp. is suppossed to be E/O Buenna Vista by the 1st. traffic circle somewhere
.The next firehouse is to be in the general area of the traffic circle also.

There is a HUGE poured cement building going up along hwy 44 near Powell Rd. I wonder what that is.....it must be 3 stories tall.....seems to be in the Brownwood town square area.....I am so curious!

Since there are no windows in the new building, I'm guessing that it is the new Brownwood Theater.

Brown wood might be four years away you better go down there and tell those fellow that are tearing out trees and pushing dirt around that they are a little ahead of themselves.
I think the large building could be a theater the walls went up within a week.

the 1st phase is for 10 buildings: the one you are seeing is the theatre. it will be two stories. other buildings in the first phase include:
sales center
square elements: gazebo, drink stands, etc
a couple retail buildings
theatre
estimated completion of the first phase is next summer. if you'd like to see the plans stop by my office at Wildwood City Hall.

Why do you think so, Drdodge? It seems TV developer doesn't take four years to build anything.
