I post this one day late for Veteran's Day, but better late than never.

A 15 year old girl by the name of Lissie Palmer made this little video that put Hollywood to shame. After I watched it I had tears in my eyes. It's become a YouTube sensation. Please watch this in honor and remembrance of everyone you've ever loved who has served.

Thanks so much for that, Richie! It is so touching. One of my best friends is a Vietnam war vet, and he said when he meets another Vietnam vet, they don't say "hello", they say, "Welcome home, brother", because they never got that "way back when".

I know exactly what you mean, being a Viet Nam vet myself. I was at a bike show in N.Y. in 1995, and I was admiring an art piece I had never seen before that time, depicting a fallen soldier's spirit touching the hand of his loved one's hand who had her hand over his name on the wall. I was visibly moved and after a bit of conversation the booth operator "welcomed me home". I was stunned and almost speechless. It was the very first time someone, other than my family, said that to me. I still remember that man's face.

Richie: Thank you. This type of conversation acknowledges the sacriface Nam vets made, finally apologizes for the terrible homecoming they received and is a reminder that we must not let it happen ever again
