Local SCORE Chapter Seeks Volunteers

SCORE is a national volunteer organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs establish and grow small businesses. Most of the 13,000 volunteers across the country are retired executives and business people who are looking for a way to give back and find a meaningful way to use the skills and experience that they have gained over a lifetime.

The local branch of SCORE serves the area of The Villages and the surrounding corridor up to and including Ocala. We are looking for additional members who are willing to help in one or more of the following areas:

client counseling on business issues
organizing workshops and courses to be presented by our members
organizing our community outreach programs to build relationships with local government & businesses
recruiting new members
chapter secretary
