I have ranted about CenturyLink's service and a CenturyLink employee, and TOTVer, contacted me and kindly offered his help with resolving my problems. This morning a CL person called, at his request, and made sure ALL of my concerns were addressed in a MOST professional manner. My internet is working great, my bill has been corrected and I'm very grateful to Doug, Stephanie and CenturyLink for helping me and turning frustration into admiration! Thanks!

While I am happy that your problems have been solved, it should not take these people to push your problem up the chain of command to get your problem solved.
Service should be provided to everyone without a push.

Service shouldn't be - Why is it that someone doesn't have the time to do something right the first time but has the time to do it over again to get it right.

As a bit of an aside...............
Kudos to you, wendyquat, for posting what you did in this thread. Regardless of whether or not it should have taken another person's involvement to help get you resolution to the problem, you did well by taking the time to post your update in the fashion you did.
Thanks!
Bill :)

If I am getting Comcast, do I need Century Link also?

Which of Comcast's services are you getting? If you are getting their triple play bundle you will not need Century Link.

If you are moving to a newer home, Century Link now has a "triple play" of its own. Prism for TV, DSL for internet and phone landline service.

my experience with them has been great from day one. When I got my 1st bill there was a big error but it was taken care of immediately by the first person I got on the line. I have Prism, internet and phone with CL.
I guess a lot depends on the individual that answers the call!
