Are there are night Village activities? And I mean activities that don't end at 10 or 11 PM.

On weekends, I am a night person and enjoy staying out to 3 or 4 AM. Just wondering if anything is open that late - or does everyone call it a night by 11PM?

Enjoy dancing - ballroom - mostly.

I am surprised you found places that stay open until 10 or 11. Every country club we have gone to has closed at 9!

The thing that worries me is that I am so tired from all the running around doing stuff that I am ready to settle in at about nine...sometimes earlier..:icon_bored:

i believe Gator's Dockside and Margarita Republic in spanish springs are open until two.... unfortunately they are usually filled with very loud music and a younger crowd from the surrounding areas...sumter county only allows alcohol to be served until midnight, but lake county has a later deadline...lots of ballroom dancing around but all the rec centers close at ten so therefore the ball is over then, too. it would be very nice to have one classy place which stayed open later, at least on the weekend! i am not a drinker but i certainly love to chachacha! maybe someone should speak to the owner of luigioni's?

Oh, Oh,,, I've been caught. Yes, Chuck, my night starts at 9pm....
Marg, Repub, Gator's Dockside & Applebee's have music until the wee hours, I believe 1 and 2am. We have a new gig happening at Gator's Dockside (which you might enjoy, Ms. Chachacha), Tues night is jam night for blues and boogie at Dockside from 8pm to midnight. Plenty of dance room, great musicians, and loads of fun.
Places are staying open a little later as we get more baby boomers in here, I am NOT a baby boomer (hardly) but you'd never know it when I'm doing the night life.
In Lake Sumter, RJ Gator's has music every Sat night until 11:30 but you must get out of there immediately, curfew I hear.
Cha x 3, Luigioni's used to be the old Bourbon St, which was the hottest spot in all of TV... Wish that would happen again, but I doubt it.
Now we need an all night restaurant for b'fast so we don't have to go to that dumb Denny's on 441/27,,, ewwwww.

Marguerita Republic in Spanish Springs is open until I think 1:30,...of course after 9 pm most of the people in there are twenty somethings,...non- Villagers from around the area. I've been there a few times with my daughter,....I hope you like "the beat box groove" because they have the sub-woofers cranked so loud in there your teeth almost rattle...The Lady Lake police are always there at close to make sure that the anebriated (sp?) don't get in trouble...

Katie Belle's is open until 11 pm. That would be a Villages crowd in there, you need your pass to get in....

I'm not sure how late City Fire is open in Lake Sumter Landing....

I am not a drinker but te above comment is disturbing and from my five years living here, innaccurate, playing into stereotypes. In my years here I have rarely seen anyone drunk in the squares despite the availability of adult beverages.

Margurita is open till 1 or 2 am...the pub is open late....The Dockside also open late...City fire at Lake Sumter stays open late other than that it is dead after 9pm....We do need a night club for all us night owls. Something with a lot of seating & a big dance floor. I do not like going into these resturants to dance.

I post the same question - where do singles hang out? I will be leaving TX May 2 and arriving in TV on May 4 to live permanently. I am single and although I'm not a drinker, I love to dance and have a good time. I enjoy life! Any suggestions for me???

It appears that we have a lot of singles that like to stay out late. If we were to start our own club, the Rec centers close at 9 pm :( so that's out... there are places outside TV, but the drinking & driving is a problem, unless the singles who want to go out don't mind driving the drinkers!! :undecided:

I don't drink (very seldom) so I don't mind being the desingated driver. All I ask for in return is LOTS of dancing! I'm too young and enjoy life too much to turn in at 9:00.

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. Want to dance??? Hang with me and my pals. We are out almost every night dancing (not necessarily drinking) but having lots of fun.
