Had jim to the house today to go all through my irrigation system. Just wanted to report that jim did a great job and i would highly recommend using him. He defenitely knows what he is doing with sprinkler systems. Heres his phone number if you need a good honest dependable irrigation repair person. 504-2317 This forum is how i found out about jim so i just wanted to return the favor to other people in this forum.

I had Jim out for the second time in two years. He is very knowledgable and professional. Only thing I didn't appreciate is him charging $25 to check settings on my timer which were already set from his last visit.

I had a problem with my sprinker system so after reading on TOTV I called Jim Baumgartner and he came the following day. Jim went over system and informed me that my timer was bad...he offered to replace it but I decided to do it myself to save some money. Jim only charged me $10 for the visit and even gave me a few tips. I just wanted all to know if I ever have another problem I would definitely call Jim again.

Tom, will you share with us how much he charged and for what size lawn? I would like to have some info to compare with a price we were recently quoted from another party.

Jim just left my home and I am very pleased.
As a small businessman myself, I must say that Jim answers his phone, shows up on time does the job at a fair price, then cleans up. I dont know what more you could ask for. A true Professional.

Jim replaced 5 rotary heads I think. He checked all of my heads. I have 5 zones that I water. My timer was all messed up so he reset it. He set the clock to the new setting which we will start using next sunday. Whole thing cost me 210.00

Jim was very reasonable and did a good job the first time we had him out. When we needed him at a later date for a broken pipe the charge was $250 for an hour's work.

I have been dealing with Jim for the seven years I have been here and he does do good work. He can be costly on some items but then I do not know what his competitors would have charged me.

I was getting the "overage usage" letters while up north and of course corresponding high water bills. Once I got back here I called Jim because I though I had a leak. Made an appointment and Jim was on time. Looked at my timer and immediately told me what the problem was, the timer was set improperly. He walked me through the proper was of setting the run times for each zone. He then check each zone for proper coverage and if any defective or improper sized heads. A month has gone by and my irrigation water consumption went from 40 to 50,000 gallons a month to less than 5,000. He has saved me real money and will have him back at 6 months to check the system again. I HIGHLY recommend him.
