No, but if the food and service is the same as any other day I wouldn't do it.

I've lived here 11 years & I go to Cattle Baron alot. It's one of my favorites in the Villages. I've never had an issue with service or food. If you aren't happy with something, they will gladly get you something else. I haven't been there for Thanksgiving for years. We usually go to a friend's house.

We have never had a "Bad" experience with Cattle Barons and enjoy going there... However I would predict all places on Thanksgiving Day will be very crowded and you will not receive the same level of service (or food quality) as you would on a non-holiday. Our experience has been the worst days to venture out to most resturants are Mothers Day, New Years Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Fathers Day. One of the few excpetions to this rule may be Bonefish Grill.

Here is a link to some reviews/comments from last year.

I can not speak for the turkey dinners that The Cattle Baron serves, but will say our family and family members that visit TV enjoy dining at CB.

We are happy with the excellent prices, service, drink specials and never had a bad meal to complain about. Let us know how Thanksgiving dinner was if you decide to go, thanks

We always have good luck at CB. They always cook fish correctly. That cannot always be said about other TV establishments.

We went to CB last week for the first time. The salad bar was nice and the food was good. We were with 2 people with hearing aids and the music was not good for them as background noise. I loved the music. Like I said the food was good, but mine was cool. I told the server that my meal was cool and she said she could return it. It was my decision to keep it as I did not want to cause a scene with my table people. At any rate I enjoyed CB and will be back again, only I will tell ask the server to make sure all dinners are hot when being served.

We have been to C.B many times. The best meal deal in T.V.

I ate at CB last night with a fairly large group. The food and service were very good. It had been a while since we had been to CB, but we will definately return. At least an 9 out of 10 score.

Despite the positive comments below, I totally agree that Cattle Baron is second rate. Dinners are inexpensive and you get exactly what you pay for. Don't ruin you Thanksgiving by going to CB.

Well we went to Cattle Baron's for Thanksgiving Day turkey dinner and were not disappointed. Overall we thought it was very well done. The atmosphere was great as always and the food was very good, particularly considering it was "mass produced" for several hundred guests. The only exception was the pecan pie which was very disappointing, but the rest of the meal was actually very good! We will return next year.

We've been to CB several times and have been very satisfied with the food...and the service has been excellent.

What a disappointment! Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance but had no record of us at the restaurant - upstairs or down. Got an empty table, though - there were several. Dinner was cold, not good slices of turkey, and overpriced. We were rushed through dinner - main course served before our salad was even half eaten. Dessert order before the main course was half gone. Guess the staff wanted out of there and it was only 6:30. Table next to us sent their dinners back. Had our family with us from out of state. Total disappointment!

food is okay and it is cheap..remember you have music at Katie Bell's down stairs.

to enter, must show I.D. card. CattleBaron and Katie Belles have DelWebb
and Fruitland Park's regulars w/the managers knowledge.Who is monitering
the customers? Should guests be required to have a guest I.D.? You are
required to show I.D. at The Villages pools but not Residents only club?
I am probably in the wrong 'Thread' but this is my first post and I don't know
where to post a question.

Been there several times, mostly for the music and dancing at Katie Belles. You get what you pay for,the food is cheap and plentiful. There are numerous restaurants in TV with better food, but few with such an enjoyable ambience.
