I saw a hilarious "news" story featuring a little boy around 10 years old who had been "hasseled" by Occupy Wall Street protestors. This was on Fox News and the little boy had been spoken to by a protestor on his way to school. The little boy was dressed in a suit and tie and was totally prepped by Fox. His advice to the OWS protestors was "get a job" and he then stated he would like to be in the military when he grows up.

You could actually see him reading off the Teleprompter. Maybe he will grow up to be a Fox broadcast talking head.

You must be talking about Jimmy Carter. President Obama is certainly going to be a 2-term President - just look at the field of fools the Republicans are considering at this point.

I "hope" with all my might you are wrong. I don't think we can survive another four years with this nice but ill equipped
man.
I sincerely hope this!

Hope all you want but it will happen.

Remember, most of the American voters are NOT the typical uber-conservatives that are the posters on this forum. Most American voters want someone who is a little left of center or a little right of center - they do not want an extremist anywhere on the ticket.

Sarah Palin is what sank the Republican boat in 2008. Extreme and dumb is not a good combination. At least, she has found her niche as a speaker to other extremists since resigning her elected office that she swore on a Bible to perform to the best of her ability. Well, maybe resigning was the best performance for her.

THIS is your hero as described by a man who said he got a thrill from the President....tells you a lot..predicted on here and other places BEFORE he even got the nomination...listen to a real solid fan talk of him....

This man was a mistake going in and he gets worse....he may be a nice man a good father, but...well, listen to just about his #1 fan a few year ago...

And you don't consider yourself an "extremist" only of the left kind? You don't really sound like a centrist to me.
I am a independent and am not an extremist.
So, I guess I will hope beyond hope and at least maybe cancel your vote if it is indeed for the current president.

Nope, I am not an extremist to the liberal side. I have lots of conservative beliefs regarding politics. I am not very enthralled by the current crop of Republican candidates.

Since you have lots of conservative beliefs regarding politics, perhaps you could share a few so that we could understand you better?

Ok then. I will accept that, you just sounded more than a little left of center.
If you could pick a conservative candidate who would you like to see?
If you don't like what you see then I guess Obama is your guy then?
Please understand that I am asking so I have a better idea of where you are coming from when I read your post.
I am not enthused about them at this point but I am more in the camp of almost anybody but Obama and the people he brought with him.

I get the distinct impression lately that some posters have more than one screen name! Some similarities are just too close to be coincidence, but I suppose it is possible!

I might vote for a ticket of Romney and Pawlenty. I am sure all possible candidates are not known right now for the VP slot.

How about yourself?

Boy, I am having a hard time landing on someone this time.
I feel like I have to pick Romney by default and then try to think of someone who could pull in some votes he does not get. I guess Rubio. I think Florida is always a key state in an election and he could help in that area.
Also Rubio is young and could run for president after Romney if the country is not ready for HOPE AND CHANGE again by then.
But I am still not ready to vote.
