Who decorates the benches?

I've noticed that some (but not all) benches along the golf cart paths are decorated for each season. Just curious, who decorates them?

I THINK that they are donated in memory of a loved one....but I am not sure of that.

Our friend that helped us in finding our home in Hadley, was part of a group that donated one in memory of one their group that had recently died. The donors of the benches are probably the same ones who also do the seasonal decorations. :wave:

It is the donor or friend who decorates the bench. Last year around this time Grinches were taking some of the decorations, especially the live potted plants. What to think???!!!!

In October, husband & I took a trip round the golfcart track. We noticed a few decorated with autumn leaves. When we got to the 466, there was a lady with a bag full of decrations, and she was the lady doing the benches. Very nice too :wave:

I personally do not like to see them decorated, especially with fake stuff. They look beautiful just as they are, and more welcoming bare.
