Hi Guys,
We will have house guests soon who would like to golf while they are here.
(We don't golf.)
I'm thinking they will be golfing on the executive courses. (with guest passes)
Where would we go to rent golf clubs?

Uptown Girl,
This question was just asked by friends of ours. You'll find this statement under the Executive Golf Trail Information http://www.golfthevillages.com/executive-golf/faq.asp#q14
Rental Golf Clubs
Each golfer on the executive courses is required to be equipped with a set of golf clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted due to pace of play concerns. Clubs may be rented for use from any country club facility for use on any executive course.

I would strongly suggest Treetops pro shop for club rentals. The country clubs will only rent clubs on a per-round basis. You need to return them after each round. When I had a guest here for a week, that could have been quite tedious. Treetops (on Rolling acres rd @ 466) lets you keep them for the rental period for about the same price. Great people to deal with!!

I rented clubs at Lopez during a LSV and was really disappointed in the quality of the clubs. They were basically Walmart specials. If your friends are serious golfers, they would do better to rent clubs from a golf equipment store (they will let you test a demo set of top of the line clubs but you will need to leave a deposit until you return the clubs). If your friends do not score below 100, the clubs will not be an issue.

I rented clubs for guests at a villages championship course and they were new tour edge, complete set. Definitely not Walmart..............
