Interesting article in the Orlando Sentinel about how the growing use of golf carts is bringing out an increase in theft and chop shops.

You can buy a bicycle lock/cable to deter theft. Run the cable through the bar at the top of the windshield, turn the wheel as far as possible in either direction and run the cable through the wheel. This might not prevent anyone that has a way to lift the front end, but it will certainly slow them down.
