Just like picking teams on the softball field, start with two captains:

Each Captain takes turns picking one program at a time that their team feels is the most important program, until your reach the budget limit.

Anything left is done away with, if that is Obamacare, so be it, if that is EPA or Parks Department etc etc etc, THEN SO BE IT.

Mission Impossible. Because they are politicians.
They most certainly will never ever surrender any of their programs.
They do not go after other members programs, because in turn they do not want anybody coming after theirs.

That is why we will only ever see cuts in programs that affect we the people.

Business as usual as we the people continually allow!!

Until such time as whoever is in the WH gives very specific direction and sets an example (which is what leaders do) there will be no balanced budget. And it is apparent by Obama's lack of leadership and involvement, he is content with the business as usual.

We better start dropping programs and soon or we will find ourselves doing laundry for the Chinese.

Republicans are defending their promise to voters following the 2010 elections to cut spending and not to raise taxes. Democrats claim rasing taxes is the solution to rebalancing the economy but we know that as taxes are raised that increased revnue will only be spent.

I can't and won't fault Republicans for attempti ng to keep their promise.
