Anyone have trouble with their smoke alarms. Mine went off a few weeks ago, changed all the batteries. One of them went off this week again.

I had the same problem last month. One of the combination smoke alarm-CO2 detectors was defective and had to be replaced. They are all wired together, so one bad one will cause multiple problems.

As smoke alarms get older and dust accumulates on the sensor plates they will send out false alarms. They can be cleaned with compressed air or gently vacuuming them. Smoke alarms should be replaced after 10 years of service. Hope this helps . . . .

Try taking down your CO detectors. We had two go bad at different times. If they are under five years and if they are First Alert they will replace them free. Call the number on the back. They have had issues with the CO detectors.

My was cherping 3 short cherps every once in a while. I changed the battery with no luck. I called the warranty company and they replaced it with no questions asked. They knew the problem immediately.
Good Luck:crap2::crap2:
