Help please from those in the know...How shall we pack for a weeks stay in the Villages mid Dec? I am watching the weather temps as they are posted each day....and just keeping my fingers crossed that the weather is just pleasant with no extremes. Any advice from women on the TOTV as to how they would pack for a weeks visit? My husband packs pretty much the same no matter what...It must be a man thing..
We are due for some cold weather just before the trip so I am hoping it does not dip down into Central Florida. We plan to Golf and will bring our suits... but curious if the pools are used much this time of the year..Thanks for all your thoughts.

It can be warm or it can be chilly. So pack a little of each and be prepared. Evenings generally are in the 40's or 50's...but if there is a north wind it can seem down right cold. I'd say watch the weather for that time online and go from there. Oh...the day time temps can be in the 60's or 70's...if the sun is shining it's warm, not hot! Hope this helps!

I find I wear a lot of capri pants during the day and slacks at night. I usually wear short sleeve tops and bring along a long sleeve shirt to wear as a jacket. It can be warm during the day, but often stores and restaurants are quite cool. Also, the minute the sun goes down, it gets chilly and the wind can be cold. I realize, however, my definition of "cold" has changed since living here  Also, remember its FL so everyone dresses very casually.

You can swim if you're comfortable with the temps being in the 70's and the sun is out. Sixties....??....it can be chilly! Pools are heated to the mid-80's but if there's a north wind you may not be able to feel that!! JMHO....

Best to bring a little of everything. Also, there are clothing bargains galore in the stores. I always dress in layers. The temperature can rise 20 degrees between 8 am and noon. Winter weather is very unpredictable. One year I swam on Christmas day. The following year at the same time I was wearing my winter jacket to the dog park.
Whatever the weather, you'll have a great visit!

Thank you so much for the ideas on packing appropriate clothing.. Hmm Shopping always sounds good!! Will pack layers and keep our eyes open for some of those bargains. And if all goes as we hope, we'll get those suits wet as well...Counting the days!!
