These will work (it's that old "referrer" problem when linking to some TV web sites that rears its ugly head) - - - -
Lake Sumter Landing:
Lake Sumter web cam (http://blankrefer.com/?http://www.thevillages.com/lifestyle/cam_lsl.asp)
Spanish Springs:

I've been using this one for LSL for a couple of months, it's a much bigger picture.

Is there a bigger picture for Spanish Springs, as well?
Are these the only 2 webcams in The Villages? -- it would be nice if there were more.....

Okay here is the deal on TV web cams. They are both Axis security type cameras uses as a web cam and not something you can buy at Best Buy.
The LSL cam is an Axis 213 PTZ and at one time I checked the price and it was over $1200 and that did not include the housing. Give this link a try but you may have to cut and paste and it may ask you to install another program to view but it is safe to do. Also you will want to make sure the stream profile or video format (depending which cam you are looking at) is set to Motion JPG.

The SS cam was the same as the LSL cam but was replaced earlier this year with an Axis Q6032. I found that one selling for over $3000 last time I checked a number of months ago. Try this link.

For those of you who do not want to take this route you can always hold down the control (CTRL) key and roll your mouse to get the exact same view. Keep an eye on the percent number at the bottom right of your web browser (IE) and put it back to 100% when you are done playing or all your web pages will be very large.
Have fun.

For those on a laptop and don't use a mouse, you can try this...
Hold down the Control key (Ctrl) and press the + key to enlarge. Hold down Ctrl and press the - key to shrink. Hold down Ctrl and press the 0 key (zero key) to set the magnification back to normal.
