Please pull up Senate bill S1867 and see the new protection they have for us. This is a detention of citizens or anyone on our soil suspected of terrorist connection. They can keep up lock without trials. Probably afraid of what we will do when we find out the truth of what goes on in Washington. Google it, it goes to the pres. this week for signing.

Here's an interesting youtube discussion on the bill S1867

ProLifers, gun control opponents, those against illegal immigration and same sex marriage, have already been labeled as threat to our national security on April 7, 2009...http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/homeland_security_report_equates_abortion_opponent s_with_white_supremacists/

Without discussing the pros or con of the bill, I offer this to you all who are concerned...
"Remember, this is a gargantuan 926-page bill, but there are only two small sections that have people up in arms, or nearly so. But it is those two exact sections that provide the evidence that there is nothing to panic about.
According to Section 1032 on “Requirement for Military Custody,” for instance, “the requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not apply to citizens of the United States.”
Seems pretty plain to us.
And Section 1031, which relates to the use of the armed forces to detain covered people “pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Force,” has a very narrow purpose of describing detention “under the law of war” of people who either participated in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, or is a member or “substantial supporter” of al-Qaida, the Taliban, or “associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners.”
This DOES apply to U.S. citizens, but it has already been established in plentiful detail that traitors who join forces with the enemy are subject to military law, including detention and worse.
This concern about protecting Americans who might be judged by the government to be at war with the United States seems to be misplaced, at best, and mischievous at worst. There is a virtually nil chance that you or your neighbors will be swept up off the street and locked up in “indefinite detention” unless you are indeed engaged in war against the United States."

To bad that you did not look further. This kind of clears it up for all of us, who wanted that language changed and why.

I certainly would consider an anti-abortion group that advocates the murder of pro-choice doctors a terrorist organization.
I would also consider the crazy militia groups like those in Idaho and Montana (Ruby Ridge, etc) to be terrorist organizations. They are not "freedom loving individualists" but they are terrorists who want to overthrow the government by any means possible.
The YouTube clip of Rand Paul just shows he is as loony as his father - but actually somewhat loonier.

Well, I looked a lot.....CANNOT link to the blog you added at all.
Listen, I have been anti Obama since BEFORE he had the candidacy, but I do not look for a conspiracy around every corner. There is enough out front to criticize this President without looking at blogs on the internet.
I DID visit this website since I could not pick up your link, and while those who run this, I am sure have good intentions, it is a bit...shall we say over the edge for me....reminds me of all the blogs that chastised Bush, Cheyney, etc for all the ills of the world done intentionally. As I said, there is enough going on for me to criticize the President...do not need this kind of stuff but appreciate you sharing

Which particular "anti-abortion" group advocates the murder of abortionist doctors? These groups are actually Pro Life groups and value the sanctitiy of ALL LIFE.

This is a link that Katz should read. It is old but I am sure there are still pro-life people like Paul Hill around the country.
