Says he wants to retain the possibility of running as an independent and does not want to create conflict of interest. What a joke! This guy would no more agree to put his holdings in a blind trust than I would agree to jump off trump tower. And that assumes he would have a chance to win, which is ludicrous.

Actually, Chump is still worried about those "special investigators" he sent out to Hawaii in April to look for The President's birth certificate.

Nobody has heard from them in 6 months - their families must be worried.

Kinda hard to focus on moderating a debate with such worries.

This place is really taking a STEEP downward turn.....check out the last posts on this thread and the one titled...."Does it really matter WHO is President"....NOBODY seems to have the dignity or respect for anyone else. Everyone seems to be giving out nicknames and slandering folks...one reason only...they disagree with their politics.

I disagree with most of what President Obama is doing but would never consider calling him a name he is the President....same for President Bush as he is getting called names on the other thread....and now on here we go for "chump"

Man....no wonder folks bow out of this forum at breakneck speed. Why does everybody have to call names of those with whom they disagree...does that make you all feel better ?

It just proves how mature they really are.

It isn't just on TOTV or in Paradise, it is everywhere - a sad sign of our times.

I would apologize to no one concerning names I have mentioned about the Republicans.

There were no apologies for the cartoon that was circulated by Republicans that showed President Obama as a monkey - and that was done nationwide.

There were no apologies from posters on this forum for continually referring to President Obama as "Barry Soweto", "B. Hussein Obama", and "Barack Hussein Obama". The posters would get huffy and claim that obviously Mr. Obama was proud of those names since he used them in his inaugration instead of owning up to the fact they used these names to infer a Muslim connection or African connection - instead of American President.

I will stick with Caribou Barbie as the best name for Palin as the great comedian and political pundit, Bill Maher, came up with it. Other names are not necessary right now but as time goes on in the campaign, I am sure Bill Maher will come up with them - and I will be glad to pass them on.

I guess that makes it ok to do since the other side does it too. Too bad there aren't more true debaters on here that can leave the name calling out of it and debate the issues like Cabo and Kahuna do.

I side with those posters who attribute the name calling to a frustrated nation.

Having said that are there acceptable names such as greedy, clueless, selfish,.........

What do you call Presidents who place themselves ahead of the country? What do you call a president who is caught cheating in the White House?? I mean Ronald Reagan had such respect for the office of president that he would not take off his suit jacket.

What do you call congress men and women who indulge in insider trading, kick backs, cross voting to support each others pork barrel projects?

I read excerpts from a book review on china. the author explained that the riots/revolt in Tiananmen Square wasn't about freedom/democracy. It was because the chinese peoplewere sick and tired of the graft and corruption committed by their politicians.

Will we have our Tiananmem Square??????
