View Full Version : Samsung Galaxy SII
After much research I've gone with the Samsung Galaxy SII. The voice system is amazing - you can create emails, search etc. with voice. I'd like to talk with someone about apps etc. It's going to be a major learning curve after years with a Blackberry.

Although I don't own the Samsung Galaxy S2, I have been a Android user since it was first introduced a few years ago. The apps available in The Market are endless and many are free. I recently read an article that Apple's IPhone is now facing their most serious completion from the new Android OS phones, which are lighter, thinner and faster than the newest Iphone 4S. Samsung was noted as being a top threat. Although I own an Apple IPad 2, I have no plans of purchasing an IPhone because I have been so happy with the Android phones I've owned.
My advice is to get acquainted with the apps in the market and read the reviews. Also, there are several excellent Android forums you should check out.
Good luck
Dan, thanks for the tips. My first problem is that my 600+ contacts came over from the Blackberry with phone and e-mail but I had a lot of addresses and notes as well that did not transfer. I'm trying to see if I can connect to my computer and transfer some files. One thing at a time!!
