We will be closing on our new home in Sanibel in January :) We would welcome recommendations for a lawn service and pest control company. Looking forward to our first Fl winter.

We use KB Lawn service. They do everything outside. As far as your irrigation, if there is a problem with your sprinklers, they will come out and adjust the heads if you aren't getting the coverage you need. We had to have them come to our previous house and they changed some of the inserts to give better coverage. We had them at the last house and now here also.

They run each zone to see that each head puts out the right volume, and you get complete coverage. also, you get 2 free emergency sprinkler repair calls/year, and they will repair anything they happen to damage with the mowers.

I heard from someone who uses Stellar that a bundle is $1900 a year. Is that correct? It includes cutting, edging, trimming, and maintainance of sprinklers and two power washings of home. I am not sure if I remembered all of it, OR remembered it correctly.

Interested in knowing because we are looking too.

Another big recommendation for Stellar. He advertises on here and does it all..if you are not happy with something he or one of this tecs will be there in a flash to help you. Can not say enough good things about them. They do all outside maintenance as well as inside and outside pest control.

I do my own pest control and it takes $10 and 10 minutes every few months.
There are a lot fewer bugs around here than you'd expect, I think the 10 million geckos eat 'em up.

Some people have pest control, but I don't really see the need, just IMHO.
Then again, I'm pretty much a do-it-yourself sort.
