So far so good up here in central Ahia - the little bit of snow from last weekend - the first of the season - has pretty much melted away. High today in the low 50s! If only our whole winter up here could stay that way..........wishful thinking!!

I've lived with snow all my life and this has to be the most creative I've seen for snow removal....

WOW - My original thought was it's a** backwards but the more I thought about it, it's ingenious. Somebody put a lot of thought into this idea. I guess that' why people might do a double take when they see this plow attached to the back of his vehicle.
FWIW - It's warmer than normal in CT but we did have a pretty big snowstorm in October, 2011. I'm hoping the rest of the winter will be good to us. :)

Chicago area has only had 1.5 inches of snow since Dec. 1. Usually by Jan. 7 Chicago has had 15 or more inches of snow. Maybe the weather god(s) are giving Chicago a break after the past 4 winters of 50+ inches of snow - especially the Groundhog Day blizzard of Feb. 2, 2011 and it's 22 inches of snow. Praying for a continued mild winter for Chicago and eastern Iowa so my 81 year old Dad doesn't have to use his snowblower very much.

40 miles south of Chicago
We have had less than a tenth of an inch in the last 6 months. We are still going to move to TV.
